Lewan among 4 named Michigan captains

ANN ARBOR — Taylor Lewan, Cam Gordon, Jake Ryan, and Courtney Avery will be captains of the Michigan football team this season, as voted upon by their teammates.

The program announced its four captains today via its Twitter account, @umichfootball.

Michigan is ranked at No. 17 in the Associated Press top 25 preseason poll and opens the season at 3:30 p.m. Saturday against Central Michigan in Ann Arbor.
