■ Notes: Michigan has lost three of its last four games, including a 17-13 loss to Nebraska that effectively eliminated the Wolverines from Big Ten title contention. … Northwestern has lost five games in a row and has not beaten UM since 2008. … Michigan’s Jeremy Gallon enters with 947 yards and can finish the season as the first Michigan receiver in six years with at least 1,000 yards; Mario Manningham had 1,174 yards in 2007. Gallon is second in receiving yards in the Big Ten, behind Penn State’s Allen Robinson (1,106). … UM has allowed 26 sacks this season, including 14 in its last two games, losses to Michigan State and Nebraska. … Northwestern has played two quarterbacks this season — Trevor Siemian and Kain Colter. Siemian is 102-for-181 passing for 1,349 yards, seven TDs, and six interceptions. Colter, who sustained an ankle injury at the start of October, is 58-for-74 passing for 545 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions. Colter has also has run for 409 yards and four TDs. … Northwestern linebackers Damien Proby and Chi Chi Ariguzo have combined for 158 tackles, but the Wildcats’ pass defense is 11th in the Big Ten, giving up 249.2 yards a game, while rushing defense allows 168.6 yards.
