UM opens Aug. 16 football practice to public

ANN ARBOR — Michigan's athletic department announced today that its open practice Aug. 16 at Michigan Stadium is free to the public, but will require fans and season-ticket holders to register online to obtain free tickets.

The practice begins at 8 p.m. Aug. 16. Registration begins at noon today at www.mgoblue.com/tickets, and ends at 5 p.m. Aug. 13.

The first 300 Michigan student season-ticket holders who sign up to attend the practice will have sideline access. Parking at Michigan Stadium will be free, and Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor will charge $10 a vehicle for parking.
