Mud Hens to have Weinhardt pitch against Columbus

COLUMBUS -- The Mud Hens will have Robbie Weinhardt start today's game in Columbus instead of scheduled starter Derek Hankins.

Derek Hankins will have his contract purchased by the Doosan Bears of the Korean Baseball League.

Hankins is 4-4 with a 3.03 ERA in 14 starts for Toledo. His ERA currently ranks seventh-best in the International League. He began the season with Double-A Erie and was 1-1 with a 3.06 ERA in three starts for the SeaWolves.

Weinhardt is 2-0 with a 3.89 ERA in 16 appearances for the Hens, including a June 22 start against Pawtucket where he allowed six hits and one run in five innings.
