ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Dusty Ryan connected for a home run with two outs in the top of the 10th inning yesterday to give the Mud Hens a 6-5 victory over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.

Ryan got the chance to hit his third homer of the season because Jeff Larish doubled home Wilkin Ramirez, who had singled, in the ninth inning to tie the game at 5.

Larish put Toledo on the board in the fourth inning with his second homer of the season. The Hens tacked on another run in the inning as Clete Thomas walked, stole second and scored on a single by Brent Dlugach.

A pair of errors helped the IronPigs take a 1-0 lead in the first off Eddie Bonine, and after the Hens went up 2-1, Lehigh Valley scored a pair in the sixth for a 3-2 lead.

Andy Tracy walked with one out, stole second, then trotted home when John Mayberry hit his sixth homer of the season.

Toledo scored two in the eighth as Thomas walked, Dlugach singled, then Thomas stole third with Mike Hessman at the plate. Hessman struck out for the second out of the inning but Ryan Roberson delivered a two-run double to give Toledo a 4-3 lead.

Lehigh Valley scored a pair in the bottom of the eighth to go up 5-4, helped by an error, a hit-batsman and a pair of walks, including one with the bases loaded.

Bonine had a solid outing, giving up only one run - unearned - on two hits over five innings. Fu-Te Ni (2-0) picked up the victory despite giving up the bases-loaded walk in the eighth. He gave up just one hit in 22/3 innings.
