ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- Brandon Inge was the Mud Hens' star of the game Friday night's game, despite it being a loss for Toledo.

The third baseman went 4-for-4 -- including a two-run home run -- as the Hens lost 6-2.

With the first hit, Inge has now reached bases safely in all 16 games he has played since he was designated for assignment by the Detroit Tigers.

Mud Hens starter Andy Oliver bore down in the first inning by only allowing only one run to score on a sacrifice fly to center with the bases loaded.

Luck was not on the side of the Mud Hens in the third inning. With a runner on first and one out, an IronPig hit what appeared to be a routine double play ball to second baseman Will Rhymes. Rhymes tossed the ball to Hens shortstop Argenis Diaz. Diaz got the first putout, however, he threw the ball right into the runner sliding into second, allowing the inning to go on.

Lehigh Valley took advantage of their extra out as the next batter drove an RBI double to right. The following Pig smacked a RBI single to extend Lehigh Valley's lead to 3-0.

Down 4-0 in the sixth, Jose Ortega relieved Oliver and got off to a bumpy start as Cody Overbeck smacked a double to left center. Overbeck would advance to third on the next at-bat. Then, Rich Thompson hit a RBI sacrifice fly which gave Lehigh Valley a 5-0 edge. The IronPigs picked up their sixth run on the game on a broken-bat Erik Kratz RBI single.
