Indianapolis scored seven runs in the final two innings to claim a 9-1 victory over the Mud Hens at Fifth Third Field Monday night.
The Indians got a grand slam from Pedro Alvarez as part of a five-run eighth, then added two more runs in the ninth -- all off Brayan Villarreal -- to sweep the brief two-game home series.
The Hens and Indians will meet the next two nights at Indianapolis, with first pitch Tuesday set for 7:05 p.m.
