Tigers call up Hens' Rondon
4/23/2013The Tigers announced today that they have called up right-handed pitcher Bruce Rondon from Toledo.
Rondon will take the spot of right-handed pitcher Octavio Dotel, who was placed on the disabled list with right elbow problems.
Rondon pitched in seven games for Toledo, allowing five hit and two walks while striking out nine in 7.2 scoreless innings.
Triple-A batters hit just .179 against Rondon.
