Mud Hens claim 1-0 victory over Rochester
5/6/2013The Mud Hens scratched out a run in the bottom of the eighth inning to claim a 1-0 victory over Rochester at Fifth Third Field tonight.
With two outs and no one on, Toledo's Brandon Douglas drew a walk. Douglas was running as Argenis Diaz singled to right, and Douglas beat the throw to the plate for the game's only run.
The Hens Derek Hankins combined with Phil Coke and Bruce Rondon to shut out the Red Wings on five hits. Coke got the win with a scoreless eighth, while Rondon claimed his fifth save with a scoreless ninth.
