Homer from Dorn lifts Mud Hens over Scranton/Wilkes-Barre

Danny Dorn hit a home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift the Mud Hens to a 12-11 win over Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at Fifth Third Field today.

Dorn's home run, his eighth this season, capped the scoring in a game where the two teams combined for 30 hits. Each team scored runs in four different innings.

Each team had an inning where they sent 10 batters to the plate as the RailRiders scored five runs in the first inning and the Hens scored seven times in the second.

Brandon Douglas and Nick Castellanos also had home runs for the Hens.
