Mud Hens offense backs Hardy's one-hit shut out in 6-0 win over Gwinnett

Blaine Hardy threw a one-hit shut out to lead the Mud Hens to a 6-0 victory over Gwinnett at Fifth Third Field tonight.

Hardy allowed only one batter to reach base when Sean Kazmar singled with two outs in the third.

The Toledo offense pounded out 15 hits, including a two-run homer by Nick Castellanos in the first inning. Every Hens starter had at least one hit in the game, with Mike Cervenak collecting three hits.
