The Mud Hens suffered a 3-1 loss to Louisville on Opening Day today.

Toledo managed just six hits against Bats starter Jeff Francis and four relievers. The Hens scored their lone run in the seventh when Mike Hessman doubled, took third on a passed ball, and scored on a sacrifice fly by Ben Guez.

Louisville scored twice in the second inning, getting one of the runs on a home run by Mike Costanzo, and added a run in the fourth. All three runs were scored off Hens starter Kyle Lobstein.
