Mud Hens outfielder Ezequiel Carrera was named International League hitter of the week.
Carrera batted .407 in seven games last week with two home runs, six RBIs and nine runs scored. He also drew five walks and stole four bases.
On the season Carrera, who was named to the IL All-Star team, began play Monday leading the league with 36 stolen bases. He ranks fifth in the league with a .316 batting average and is third in runs scored with 54.
