James McCann hit a bases-loaded RBI single to give the Mud Hens a 4-3 win over Pawtucket in 11 innings tonight.
With one out the Hens got a single from Tyler Collins, a walk to Mike Hessman and Trevor Crowe's grounder that was misplayed by Pawtucket pitcher Jose Valdez to set the stage for McCann's game-winning hit.
Toledo scored single runs in the first and second innings, only to see Pawtucket tie the game in the fourth on a two-run homer by Ryan Roberts.
The Red Sox scored a run in the seventh on a two-out RBI single by Will Middlebrooks, but the Hens tied the game in the bottom of the eighth on a two-out run-scoring double by Mike Hessman.
