Eddie Money to perform in Sandusky

Rock musician Eddie Money will perform at 7:30 tonight in the Sandusky State Theatre, 107 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Tickets are $18 to $24.

Also at the theater, the Ying and the St. Lawrence string quartets will perform at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow. Tickets: $21.

The University of Toledo Faculty Jazz Combo will perform its fall semester concert at 7 and 8:15 p.m. tonight in the Center for Performing Arts Recital Hall.

Freekbass, a Cincinnati band formed by Bootsy Collins, is scheduled to appear at 9 p.m. tomorrow in Mickey Finn's Pub, 602 Lagrange St. Cover charge is $8.

Blues guitarist Bill Perry is to perform at 9:30 p.m. Friday in Mona's Riverview Lounge, 843 North Summit St. Tickets are $10.

Frank Gorshin and Dick Van Patten will star in The Sunshine Boys at 8 p.m. Friday in the Valentine Theatre, 400 North Superior St. Tickets range from $25 to $45.

The Ritz Players will perform Wait Until Dark at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and Nov. 2 and 3 in the Ritz Theatre, 30 South Washington St., Tiffin. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students.

Folk musician Judy Collins will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. Tickets are $25.

National Public Radio's Susan Stamberg will speak at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Great Hall of the Stranahan complex, 4645 Heatherdowns Blvd. Tickets for the Authors! Authors! lecture are $8 from Toledo-Lucas County Public Library branches and at the door.

Waterville Playshop will hold a workshop to teach teens how to audition for musicals. High school students will learn how to select songs that suit their voices and techniques to relax and build confidence. The teacher is Anna Summers, who has a bachelor's degree in theater and speech communications.

The Horizon Youth Theatre and COSI will hold auditions for a new science fiction play, Zortak and the Sense Cadets, at 3 p.m. Sunday and 5:30 p.m. Monday in COSI at Adams and Summit streets. Auditions are open to people age 12-17 who should bring a one-minute prepared monologue and be available for late-afternoon rehearsals. Performance dates are Nov. 19-24.
