Sangsara plays at Mickey Finn's

The spacy beauty of Sangsara will be featured tomorrow night in Mickey Finn's Pub, 602 Lagrange St., as the Toledo band hosts a CD release party for its latest disc, "Bardo."

The six-song disc features the four-member band's distinctive ringing sound and atmospheric vocals. A far cry from the usual local fare, the band echoes the ambient sound of U2's more experimental work with an element of trippiness that defies description. Sangsara performs at 11:30 p.m. Doors open at 9 and opening act Mallory from Cincinnati plays at 10:30. Cleveland's Volta Sound plays at 1 a.m. Information: 419-246-3466.
