Symphony plans two programs

Pianist William Wolfram joins conductor Stefan Sanderling and the Toledo Symphony in a program of Mozart and Strauss at 8 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday in the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle. Tickets range from $20 to $48.

Wolfram and members of the symphony will present a program of chamber music by Janacek and Shostakovich at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Peristyle. Audience members must enter through the stage door. Tickets are $10.

Organist Karen Schneider Kirner performs a recital benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Ohio at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Rosary Cathedral, 2325 Collingwood Blvd. A free-will offering will be taken.

The Johnny Knorr Orchestra entertains at the annual Paramount Senior Dance from 7 to 11 p.m. tomorrow in the Stranahan Great Hall, 4645 Heatherdowns Blvd. Admission is free for Paramount Elite members and $5 per person for nonmembers.

The orchestra plays from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday at Centennial Terrace, 5773 Centennial Rd., Sylvania, in a "Tribute to the Bands of the Big Band Era." Admission is $8 per person.

Common Creed performs at 4 p.m. Sunday in the timber-frame pavilion near Bluebell Island, Front Street, Grand Rapids. In case of rain, the event moves to Town Hall.
