Second City cast scheduled in BG

Cast members from The Second City Comedy School will be performing at Bowling Green's historic Cla-Zel Theatre at 8 p.m. April 29. Hosted by Robert Belushi, the son of Jim Belushi, the event will showcase seven comedians. Tickets are $20, $25, and $30 and can be purchased at theater, at 2B Mobile or Grounds For Thought coffee shop in Bowling Green, or via e-mail from CedrusPromo LLC at gpolloc@bgsu.edu, with the subject heading "ticket clazel."

After the show, ticketholders are invited to a free party with the cast and crew of "Comedy at the Cla-Zel" at Brewsters, located next door.

The Toledo Repertoire Theatre presents Meshuggah Nuns! April 21 through May 7 in the theater at 16 10th St. Directed by James M. Norman, the comedy is the fifth in the popular Nunsense series. The Oregon Community Theatre presents The All Night Strut April 21-30 in Fassett Auditorium, 3025 Starr Ave., Oregon. The musical presents jazz, blues, bebop and classic songs written by Frank Loesser, Duke Ellington, Johnny Mercer, Cab Calloway, and the Gershwins. Comedian Brian Regan's "Take Luck Tour" will be staged at 8 p.m. April 21 in the Stranahan Theater, 4645 Heatherdowns. Bowling Green State University's fourth annual free Student Film and Media Festival is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. April 21 and 22 in the Gish Film Theater in Hanna Hall on campus.
