Ashlee Simpson Zoo concert is canceled

The Ashlee Simpson concert slated for tonight in the Toledo Zoo amphitheater has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

The 22-year-old singer is reported to be ill, said Carrie Samek, assistant marketing director at Live Nation, the promoter of the event.

Refunds are available at the point of purchase. Pop-rocker Simpson also canceled a July 15 concert in Pittsburgh.
