B.B. King to sing at Stranahan

Legendary bluesman B.B. King will take the stage Sunday at the Stranahan Theater. The award-winning guitarist will perform hits from his catalog of more than 50 albums. The 87-year-old has won 15 Grammy Awards and been inducted in both the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $39.50 to $78 and can be purchased at the Stranahan box office or online at etix.com.

The tenth annual YELL & TELL: STOP CHILD ABUSE NOW rally will take place from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Franciscan Center on the campus of Lourdes University in Sylvania. The event, which focuses on preventing child abuse through education, will feature entertainment, food, raffles, and children's fingerprinting by the Lucas County Sheriff's Office. Former University of Toledo football great Chuck Ealey will be the guest speaker. Several local children's protection/child abuse prevention agencies will have exhibit tables with information on preventing child abuse. Information: yelltell.org.

The Toledo Show: R/C Model Expo will take over the SeaGate Convention Centre this weekend. The three-day event showcases all types of R/C models including planes, cars, and boats. More than 100 vendors and exhibitors will pile into the center for the expo. Along with the exhibitors, there will be an R/C model competition, speakers, swap shop, and an auction. The family-friendly event will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $10 per person per day. Children and active duty military, Air National Guard members, military Reserves personnel, and military retirees with pink or blue identification cards will receive free admission. ID is required.
