MLive.com says a crew took down the house today.

The boarded-up bungalow is pictured on the cover of the rapper’s recently released “The Marshall Mathers LP 2.” It also was on his 2000 album “The Marshall Mathers LP.”

A fire earlier this month damaged portions of the small home’s top floor.

The Michigan Land Bank says in a statement that the home was “structurally unsafe” after the fire. The land bank is the state agency that owns the property.

Workers are expected to finish removing debris on the lot by the end of the month.
