Doobie Brothers to play at Stranahan in March

The Doobie Brothers of 1970s fame will perform at the Stranahan Theater, 4645 Heatherdowns Blvd., at 7:30 p.m. March 28.

The Classic rockers, with two founding members Tom Johnston and Pat Simmons, along with 30 year-plus veteran John McFee, will take the stage as an eight-piece band. The Doobies are known for tunes such as "Listen to the Music," "Black Water," "Takin' It to the Streets," and "China Grove," which mixed country-rock stylings with a dash of funk.
