Welcome to The Blade's Newspaper in Education (NIE) Webpage!
Area educators have long recognized the importance of The Blade as a teaching tool. It has been used effectively across the curriculum, in all classrooms, kindergarten to adult, to review current events, social issues, government, math, science, public opinion and more. To enhance these teaching efforts, The Blade NIE Program was created over 25 years ago to provide valuable educational services to teachers, parents and students throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.
