RENO, Nev. — A Reno man has been arrested after being publicly shamed on Facebook by bar employees who said he skipped out on a $100 tab.

Saul Zelaznog has been jailed at the Washoe County Detention Center in northern Nevada on an unspecified probation violation.

He became an object of social media scorn after workers at the Brewer’s Cabinet posted his picture on Facebook Tuesday, warning others to watch out for him. The employees even linked to his profile so others could “let him know he sucks.”

Other area bar owners have told KRNV-TV that Zelaznog also stiffed them.

For his part, Zelaznog told the Reno Gazette-Journal he plans to make good on the Brewer’s bill. He also acknowledged skipping a tab elsewhere but said he left a “nice watch” as collateral.
