Ann Arbor police: $5,000 reward in probe of University of Michigan medical student killing

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Ann Arbor police have announced a $5,000 reward for tips in their investigation of the killing of a University of Michigan medical student.

Twenty-five-year-old 2nd Lt. Paul DeWolf was attending the Ann Arbor school on an Air Force scholarship. He was found slain July 24 at his off-campus apartment after failing to report for work at a hospital.

Authorities have released few details of the killing.

Police said today that the reward is for “information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect” in DeWolf’s death.

They ask anyone with information to call or email their tip line.

DeWolf planned to graduate from medical school next year.
