DESOTO, Texas — More charges have been filed against the man police say fatally shot four people and injured four others in separate Dallas-area attacks.
Erbie Lee Bowser was charged by Dallas police today with capital murder in the deaths of his girlfriend, Toya Smith, and her daughter, 17-year-old Tasmia Allen. He was also charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for wounding Smith’s 14-year-old son and a 17-year-old family friend.
Dallas police say in the arrest affidavit that the family friend identified Bowser as the shooter.
Police say after Wednesday’s shooting in Dallas, the 44-year-old Bowser went to a DeSoto home and killed his estranged wife and her daughter. He also wounded two boys.
Bowser is already charged with two counts of capital murder in the DeSoto killings.
