Some injured as bus overturns on S. Cal freeway
12/19/2013CORONA, Calif. — A tour bus has overturned on a rainy Southern California freeway, injuring 22 people.
The bus crashed this afternoon on Interstate 15 in Corona, east of Los Angeles.
The California Highway Patrol tells KNBC-TV that 22 people were taken to local hospitals for treatment. A spokesman for Corona Regional Medical Center says two people were treated for minor injuries.
The CHP says the accident may be rain-related.
