Flint-area man missing for 2 days found dead in car in Grand Rapids; foul play not suspected
1/18/2014GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A 78-year-old man missing for two days has been found dead in his car in Grand Rapids.
Police say the cause of death was not immediately known but there’s no sign of trauma. Robert Farthing was found by a family member Friday night in his Buick Lacrosse, three miles from a hospital where he was last seen Wednesday. Witnesses at the hospital say he appeared confused.
Farthing was from the Flint area and had not returned home to his family. Anyone with additional information can call police at (616) 456-3604.
