HELTONVILLE, Ind. — A southern Indiana sheriff says two teenagers wanted in connection with the beating death and robbery of a man in his remote home have been arrested in Ohio.

Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig says 19-year-old Taylor Flynn of Bedford and a 16-year-old youth were arrested on murder warrants Saturday in Ironton, Ohio, after leading police there on a chase. The sheriff says extradition proceedings will begin this week.

The two were sought following the discovery Thursday night of the body of 43-year-old Rodney Allender at his rural home in northeastern Lawrence County.

A third teenager, 18-year-old Austin Curtin of Bedford, was being held without bond Sunday at the Lawrence County Jail in Bedford facing preliminary charges of murder and robbery. The Times-Mail reports he was arrested early Saturday.
