DETROIT — Authorities say two pedestrians were killed in Detroit after being struck by a car that drove away.
Broadcasters report the man and woman were crossing a west-side street about 10:30 p.m. Friday when the car hit them. Police haven’t released the victims’ names but say they were in their 50s.
Investigators say the hit-and-run might have been deliberate. They are searching for the driver and say the car was light-colored and possibly a Pontiac Grand Am or Grand Prix.
