CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Detroit-area authorities say a 29-year-old woman abducted a baby, then dangled the child out her second-floor window.

Parisienne Clark of Macomb County’s Clinton Township was arraigned Monday on attempted murder, child abuse and kidnapping charges. A judge set her bond at $750,000 and scheduled a March 26 probable-cause hearing.

Patricia Clark tells the Detroit Free Press her daughter is bipolar, suicidal and off her medications.

Police say Parisienne Clark’s 18-year-old cousin was watching the infant Friday when Clark entered her home and took the baby.

Police say the sitter and her boyfriend went to Clark’s nearby home. Police say Clark held the child outside the window, but the boyfriend was able to rescue the infant.

Police say Clark dived out the window. She was treated at a hospital, then jailed.
