FAA reports 1 person dies, 1 seriously injured in single-engine plane crash in central Indiana
7/11/2014GREENWOOD, Ind. — A Federal Aviation Administration spokesman says one person was killed and another was seriously injured when a single-engine airplane crashed near Greenwood Municipal Airport.
Tony Molinaro says the names of the victims weren’t immediately available. He says the accident occurred about 2:20 p.m. Friday. He says the aircraft was destroyed and caught fire, but didn’t have any additional details. Local media reported the plane crashed into a house.
