VISITING 1806 IN MONROE COUNTY

Winnie Findley, top, guides fourth graders through a re-enactment of what Monroe County was like in 1806 during Lantern Tours at the Navarre-Anderson Trading Post in Frenchtown Township. Lantern Tours is sponsored by the Monroe County Historical Commission. The stories told are true, if embellished a bit.
