DUNDEE AREA SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER

Lunch at noon Mondays through Fridays; call ahead for reservations.

Mondays: Tai chi exercises for seniors (self healing through movement) at 10 a.m. Low-impact exercise at 1 p.m.

Tuesdays: Euchre at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Wednesdays: Jackpot at 9 a.m. Bible study at 10:30 a.m. Trivia games with prizes at 1 p.m. Low-impact exercise at 1 p.m.

Thursdays: Senior yoga (stretching and toning) at 10 a.m. Movie time with popcorn and beverages, 1 p.m.

Friday: Paint crafts at 9:30 a.m. and pinochle at 1 p.m.

SunBrella Cafe at the center: Weekday breakfasts hours are 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Weekday lunch available. Sunday dinner also served 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Euchre tournaments, 1 p.m. Saturdays. Various card games during the week.

MONROE CARING ALTERNATIVES

Medication management services for individuals having difficulty taking prescribed medications.

Assessment by registered nurses, who will set up dispensing of medications and injections while complying with physician's orders. Program is for all ages, but seniors receive sliding fee scale.

Activities include bingo on Mondays at 12:30 p.m. Fitness at 9 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays.

Also, tai chi at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays. Square dance at 1 p.m. and line dance at 2:45 p.m. Tuesdays.

Dec. 28-Jan. 1: Center closed. Will reopen Jan. 2.

Jan. 3: Take chair ready for chair caning craft, 12:30 p.m.

Jan. 5, 12, 19, and 26: Tone and balance class, 9 a.m.

Jan. 8: Board meeting at 10 a.m. Drop off out-dated computers today.

Jan. 11 and 25: Euchre tournament from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

POWER WHEELCHAIRS FOR SENIORS AND THE DISABLED

Power electric wheelchairs available to senior citizens age 65 and older who are unable to walk or self-propel a manual wheelchair in their home or independent living quarters and who meet additional requirements.

Also available to the permanently disabled of any age. Free to those who qualify.
