Oct. 12: Octoberfest, 5:30 p.m. German foods, polka music, songs. Food tickets are $1.50 per item.

Oct. 19: Flu clinic from 9 a.m. to noon. Take Medicare card or insurance information. Cost, $23 for flu shot and $37 for pneumonia shot.

Oct. 25: Health Odyssey, 11 a.m. Topic, Shingles prevention and treatment. Free turkey chili and salad lunch.

Medication management services for individuals having difficulty taking prescribed medications.

Assessment by registered nurses, who will set up dispensing of medications and injections while complying with physicians' orders. Program is for all ages, but seniors receive sliding-fee scale.

Electric power wheelchairs available to senior citizens age 65 and older who are unable to walk or self-propel a manual wheelchair in their home or independent living quarters and who meet additional requirements.
