MONROE MUSEUM GETS FESTIVE

Right, Dave Ingall, assistant director of the Monroe County Historical Museum, touches up the holiday decorating in the Victorian display. The museum's annual Christmas Tree Festival offers groups and organizations to decorate or display a tree or wreath in the museum.

However, each organization is responsible for set-up and take-down, and must provide the decorations, trees, wreaths, and ideas. Participating groups have been 4-H clubs, Girls Scouts and Boy Scouts, countywide school classes, flower clubs, historical societies, and many more.

Visitors can enjoy the displays through this month, Wednesdays through Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
