Pet owners got together at the Monroe County Animal Control Division's office at South Raisinville Road in Monroe to have their cats and dogs vaccinated against rabies. Angela Bondy of Temperance Animal Hospital administers a shot to Spike, held by Kim Littlefield of Dundee.

Lauren Crays, 15, of Carleton holds her cat named Dog as a shot is given by Dr. Dawn Hanusz, also of the Temperance hospital.

Dr. Dawn Hanusz tends to a Pomeranian named Tinky, held by Andrea Penn of Maybee.
