Museums, libraries MAP partnership

MONROE - Museum Adventure Pass (MAP) program, a partnership between public libraries and museums, will have free passes to 25 Detroit metro area museums available at all branches of the Monroe County Library System starting Oct. 25 and continuing through October, 2009.

The program, sponsored by Macy's, the Library of Michigan Foundation, and the Cultural Alliance of Southeastern Michigan, will include museums in Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw, Livingston, St. Clair, and Macomb counties.

Patrons will be able to use their library cards to check out a free admission pass, good for seven days, to admit either two or four people, depending on the museum.
