Why were all those unusual beds on wheels racing down Loranger Square in Monroe? It was all for fun, and charity. The race was to raise money for Now I Lay Me Down, which donates beds and cribs to youths in need. Among the approximately 80 entries were the 'Choral Cruisers,' clockwise from left, Greg Hunter, Winnie Finley, Gary Bogedain, and Sue Downing, with Judy Chesman riding, and the 'Tooth Fairy Express' with Pat Costas.
