The Historical Society of Bedford will hold its' monthly meeting at the Bedford Library on Monday at 7 p.m. Mary Betley will speak about her experience teaching Native Americans in Arizona and Colorado. She will also talk about Navajo code talkers. The public is welcome.

Medal of Honor speech by Conrad Lippincott at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Toledo Club downtown, sponsored by American Legion Toledo Post 335. A history teacher and former member of the Air Force, he will speak about the highest military decoration awarded by the U.S. government. It was created in 1862 and signed into law by President Lincoln. Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. and costs $14. Program at 12:30 p.m. is free.
