OSU drops Georgia on future schedules

Ohio State has backed out of a home-and-home football series against Georgia scheduled for 2020 and 2021.

OSU made the decision last month "due to the Big Ten-Pac 12 game that was added recently," Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity said Thursday.

An annual series between the Big Ten and Pac-12 is set to begin in 2017. The Buckeyes' future marquee nonconference opponents include California in 2012 and 2013, Virginia Tech in 2014 and 2015 and Oklahoma in 2016 and 2017.
