The Buckeyes found the end zone on eight of their nine first-half drives. The other possession ended with FAMU linebacker George Elijah Maxey intercepting Guiton in the back of the end zone, inexplicably taking it out, and losing a fumble at the Rattlers 3-yard line. Jordan Hall punched in a three-yard touchdown run on the next play.

It was that kind of day. Guiton threw touchdown passes to Evan Spencer (two), Jeff Heuerman, Devin Smith, Carlos Hyde, and Chris Fields. In the first half, the fifth-year senior completed 24 of 34 passes for 215 yards.
