Ohio State, Michigan learn NCAA tourney fates

Buckeyes earn No. 6 seed; Wolverines draw No. 2 seed

INDIANAPOLIS — It's an all-Ohio showdown for Ohio State while Michigan is heading to Milwaukee.

The Buckeyes and Wolverines learned their NCAA tournament fates tonight. OSU is a sixth seed with an opening-round game Thursday against No. 11-seed Dayton in Buffalo while Michigan will be a No. 2 seed in Milwaukee. UM will play No. 15-seed Wofford on Thursday.

If the Buckeyes win, they would advance to play the winner of third-seeded Syracuse's opener against Mid-American Conference champion Western Michigan. Michigan would play the winner of the 7-10 game between Texas and Arizona State.
