Gray beats Scarlet 17-7 in OSU spring football game.


COLUMBUS — Ohio State's spring game highlighted those who didn't play as much as those who did before a crowd of 61,058 today at Ohio Stadium.

With injured star Braxton Miller among the roster of starters sitting, backup quarterbacks Cardale Jones and J.T. Barrett struggled with an air-it-out game plan. Jones completed 14 of 31 passes for 126 yards while Barrett completed 17 of 33 passes for 151 yards.

Bri'onte Dunn and Warren Ball each ran for touchdowns to lead the Gray past the Scarlet 17-7.
