COLUMBUS — Ohio State landed commitments from two of the top high school football prospects in the country today.

In a coordinated morning announcement today, five-star Cincinnati St. Xavier linebacker Justin Hilliard and five-star Minnesota defensive end Jashon Cornell each made their pledges to OSU.

The pair represented the first true big-time national recruits in what had been — by the past standard of coach Urban Meyer — an ordinary 2015 recruiting haul. They are the 11th and 12th commits in the class overall.

Hilliard and Cornell, a product of Cretin-Durham Hall, are ranked as high as 13th and 16th, respectively, by ESPN.com.
