Ohio State opener to be broadcast on Buckeye CableSystem

Buckeye CableSystem will air Ohio State’s season opener Saturday against Navy after reaching an agreement today with CBS Sports Network. The 24-hour network launched today as part of Buckeye’s Digital Basic lineup on channel 170 and 586 (HD).
CBS’ top announcing team of Verne Lundquist, who memorably proclaimed Auburn’s stunning last-second win over Alabama last year “an answered prayer,” and Gary Danielson will call the noon kickoff Saturday.
CBS Sports Network will also broadcast Bowling Green State University’s opener Friday night at Western Kentucky.
