Max Kleiboemer, 5 months, happily passed out Halloween candy this week.

I bought a bunch of Snickers candy and Reese's peanut butter pumpkins to pass out on Halloween, and dressed my baby, Max, as a skeleton to pass it all out.

But only two trick-or-treaters ventured to my home at the end of a cul de sac. After being licked to death by our dog, Hippo, I let the kids take fistfuls of treats.

I still have a bunch of leftover candy. To be specific, I have leftover Snickers. I ate the Reese's.

Max's costumed bones glowed in the dark, but he has no teeth. Teenager Gabe is getting a bit sick of straight candy, so I found some recipes to transform it into yummy desserts, including cookies, fudge, and cheesecake.

If you have leftover Snickers, Tootsie Rolls, M&Ms, or Rolos in your sack, you may appreciate them as well.
