Snow mounds block drivers' views in Perrysburg

Perrysburg High School students have been in school all week and snow plow trucks have been less busy than in previous weeks.

Despite the lighter snowfall in the past few days, Perrysburg is buried in all this snow for the record January snowfall and additional dumpings that occurred in early February. The official snowfall in the Toledo area is 67 inches, making it the third highest ever, and nudging close to the record 73 inches.

The piled up snow -- from snowplows clearing roads and parking lots to people using shovels and snow throwers -- has become a problem at exits from businesses, schools, and even driveways and at some road intersections.
