Despite a weekend full of upsets in the open rounds of the NCAA college basketball tournament, nearly half of the 11 submissions in the March Madness competition for Mr. Freeze have all of their Final Four picks alive.

Kansas lost on Sunday, which was picked in several Final Fours submitted.

Superintendent Tom Hosler, Perrysburg High School Principal Michael Short, Owens Community College Athletic Director Rudy Yovich, Perrysburg City Councilman Todd Grayson, and myself are the only participants still with hopes of a perfect Final Four.

I'm very concerned, though, with my pick of Iowa State, which now has injury issues, and my pick of Louisville which has to play in-state rival Kentucky and then likely No. 2-seed Michigan.
