Brian Kennedy, Toledo Museum of Art director, was the featured speaker Tuesday at Way Public Library in Perrysburg. Mr. Kennedy spoke on censorship and the arts during his presentation at 7 p.m. The event was part of the library's Topical Tuesday series on controversial ideas/subjects.
President, director, and CEO of the Toledo Museum of Art since 2010, Mr. Kennedy directed the Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth College from 2005 to 2010. Before that that directed the National Gallery of australia and served as assistant director at the National Gallery of Ireland.
Mr. Kennedy, a native of Ireland, and his family live in Perrysburg, according to information provided by the library.
